I paint cool, serene landscapes defined by waves and open horizons, using Korean traditional painting techniques to express both tranquility and underlying tension. At first glance, the scenes appear peaceful—gentle water surfaces, soft gradients of sky, and the stillness of nature preserved in brush and ink. Yet beneath this sense of calm lies a deeper narrative. Within the quiet abundance of modern life, moments of disaster and tragedy often rise without warning, breaking the illusion of stability.
