Min Yul
Wooden Chair
Strange winds, slowly passing clouds, a momentary drizzle, a heavy shower, the sound of waves from leaves, the sunlight I faintly squint at, a star hanging alone in the sky, a disinterested bird passing by, the cold air that reddens my nose, a glittering young leaf, unlonely calmness, the sky that is not just blue.
I place a little chair on the tree on the street or in the little urban forest or in the distant mountain. Then I take a piece of mind and place it on the chair. It is fine whether it is windy or rainy, cool or dark night. Although this space seems a bit precarious and lonesome, I hope that you can look up at the sky at times and take a time to feel the passing wind by yourself. Even spending a brief time is fine. It will be time for you to confront yourself whenever wherever you are. It will be a little comfort for you if you are feeling lonely.
