Luka Kim is an artist who investigates the evolution of life and technology through sculptural form, using pixels as a central visual language. In his work, the pixel is not merely a digital unit but a symbolic fragment of existence — a minimal structure that holds both memory and possibility. By translating this smallest technological element into physical form, he explores how contemporary life is continuously deconstructed and reconstructed through data, systems, and human intervention.

His sculptures often appear as if they are suspended between formation and dissolution. Solid structures seem to fragment into pixel-like modules, while dispersed elements reassemble into new organic or architectural bodies. This process reflects the way identity, society, and even biological life are reshaped within a technological era. For Luka Kim, the pixel represents a threshold — a trace of the present moment just before it advances into the future. Through this language of modular repetition and transformation, he visualizes a world where technology and life are no longer separate forces, but intertwined systems evolving together.
