SeongHa LEE is a bartender and 35mm film photographer based in Seoul. His work begins with care—care for people, for atmosphere, and for the small moments that quietly shape our days. At night, he stands behind the bar listening closely to stories, mixing not only flavors but also feelings: comfort, celebration, relief. When the city grows quiet, he carries that same attention into the streets with a film camera.

He started photographing in 2023 after visiting a photo exhibition by chance. Seeing the world through someone else’s eyes felt like an unexpected kind of comfort, and he wanted to share that feeling with others. Since then, on his days off, he often walks 20,000 to 30,000 steps across Seoul, letting the city lead him to scenes that feel honest and tender.

One question guides his work: “After a conversation at the bar ends, what kind of day does that person return to?” His photographs are a gentle response—capturing everyday life as it truly is: a child’s openness, a teenager’s energy, the calm ease of an elder, and the quiet love and worries we all carry.

His debut solo exhibition City of Seoul (2024) brings together these moments of Seoul—workplaces, resting places, and ordinary streets where different lives briefly meet. Many works include QR codes linked to music he curated, inviting viewers to step into the atmosphere and awaken their own memories. He is open to collaborations with brands and cultural spaces that want to tell human, heartfelt stories through image and sound.
