My work is an inquiry into the traces of sensation and the subconscious that precede language. The canvas is a field where an event takes place, and my brushstrokes and gestures are the records and energetic afterimages left upon it.

My canvases are painted not with analog paint, but with light and data. Within the digital space, I endlessly layer colors, intersecting virtual gestures with algorithmic chance to visualize the invisible architecture of emotion. The rhythms of the city, fragments of memory, and relational tensions are reconstructed as an aggregation of pixels. Each element pushes and pulls against the others, writing a form of visual poetry across the surface.

This non-material work is not completed on a screen; it culminates in a process of ‘translation’ into a physical entity—the canvas. The moment the digital-born image permeates the texture of the canvas in the form of pigment ink, cold data is reborn as an object of warm sensation.

This is not a simple ‘printing,’ but a conceptual act of ‘translating’ signals of light into traces of pigment. When the ephemeral and fluid data is fixed upon the canvas, the virtual image becomes a singular object possessing its own unique aura.

Therefore, my work deconstructs the dichotomy of original and copy, asking how non-material data can become a unique artistic entity. It is my own visual annotation on the contemporary landscape where technology and emotion, the virtual and the real, intersect.
